Mittens died Christmas Eve 2015

My cat Mittens died.  He was rambunctious and dominant.  He kind of harrassed the other cat, Bob-cat.  We think he died of ingesting a toy he was playing with, a ring from the milk jug, plastic, about 1-1/2 inches in diameter.  He couldn't pee or eat for 4 days.  On Christmas eve day we had to go to a party, he was already comatose, so we put him in  a cat cage and left.  When we returned 8:00 p.m. he was stiff as a board and not breathing. 

I have class at KIA to sign up for, have to wait for lab fee to materialize, $20.00.   I have Dr. appt. tomorrow for my knee.  Needed cane last week, knee so weak. I did do spinner bike today and yesterday at A. Fitness.

I went from church to fitness place, to library, with packed lunch. 

I have  alot of stuff to do first week in January.  Will pray up for it New Years eve.  Am preparing for it.  I contacted Traci F. and told her I was sorting clothes at DHHS where I now volunteer. I encl. a resume' and told/asked her to keep me in mind for other positions. I also sent a resume' to Trillium staffing whom I have worked for in the past.

Discovered photos on phone are on google already

Yesterday I discovered that all my photos on my phone are already on google on the pc throught photos app. 

Frames for show and thermal pouch gifts

I managed, with Paul, to frame up about 12 pieces of art. Have about 5 pieces already framed.  A couple won't make the cut, so I'll have around 14 pieces to show, 2 are 18 x 24", the rest are 8 x 10.  We have to put hangers on the backs. 

the stuff looks really nice framed. 

Next, I am working on gifts.  Thermal pouches bought, 50, document envelopes, 25 bought. Just a matter of getting them together.  I'm at the library.  I did address the envelopes. 

Cheryl from GR sent me a nice card.

All in all, I'm not rushed.  I am, however, procrastinating. Paul is home watching soaps and Westerns. 

Invitations, Christmas 15

A lady called me about 400 invitations to be addressed, I quoted her 1.00 @.  She is happy. 

I am volunteering 4 days per week at the Dept. Health and Human Services downtown Kz.

It is good.  I helped with the computers 3 weeks, but it was stressful, so now I sort the clothing for the CPS kiddos in the foster care system.

Their warehouse is messy.
I told my boss J.O., that he needs a team to come clean it.

So I will be getting about 39 +59 gas reimbursement in Jan, also, Lord willing, I'll do the envelope addressing and get 400.00, if she doesn't trim her wedding budget.

Portage City Hall wants my artwork up Jan/Feb 2016, which I will supply. 

Esthers

Went to Mendon to see LH this a.m. but she was going to Shipshe with daughter Mar. so I went to Esther, her other daughter's, while Paul worked in field with James, LH's son.  Esther and I talked, kids sort of painted or did colored pencil.  Mom, Esther, was busy making bread and pizza.

We came home 12:45 a.m. because Esther had 3 clocks all timed to chime within 5 minutes of eachother, one on the quarter hour and half hour, and between that and the toddler/child, I am not really used to jumping off the furniture and smashing my brushes, I skeedadled out.

Speaking of skeedadling, I went to PK's yesterday and made train reservation Kal. to LA for 158 each way Feb. 10th to Feb 17 2016, to meet my brother.  All is tentative.  Reservations naturally cancel if you do not pay in a week. 

Paul worked with James until 1:00, then we came home today.  2:00 got home.  I'm at Library. 

I am at the Library.  I did a flea market at the Kalamazoo Expo in July, and another one in June at Hideaway Flea Market. 

I'm planning on being at the Kalamazoo Expo on Sept.  19, Sat. 

There is a craft fair in 3 Rivers at Meyer Broadway Park, only $20.00, 11:00 to 5:00 I think the hours are.  It's a Sunday. 

Well I am getting internet on my phone at home. 

I have no other plans for craft fairs or flea markets.  I did talk to one promoter of craft fairs and hers were $60.00 a pop. 

I am now doing Meals on Wheels 3 x weekly for 2-3 weeks, then will go back to 2 x weekly after the 31st. 

Flea Market, Three Rivers, Mich

I went down to the U.S. 131 Flea Market in Three Rivers and actually put up 2 end-caps of cards to sell. 

B. Koetje called me and will send me information regarding Flea Market in Centreville coming up this summer . I will let y'all know more when I know.

It is muggy, soggy, raining all week, T-storms (none too severe here). 

Have 14.00 in hand.  May go to Mendon, may wait a couple of days, until Wednesday or Thursday. 

Leah got some new paints.  Alot of blues, metallic blue, glittery paints, from Walmart, $15.00 worth.

I sent to Bagsunlimited for 200 larger bags, 8 x 10 and 9 x 12, I believe they are, coming in 3 days or so from NY.   I am texting alot from my phone to friend Pam, voice to text. 

Did 61 cards last Thursday night. 

Bagged them up yesterday while watching TV. 

We went to the food pantry yesterday and got a few things, it was nice, but I hope next month I won't have to do that.  Haven't done that for a year.

Well I have been without internet at home for quite a while, 2 months.  At first I painted, but now I have sooo much stationary to store and sell.  I am selling a bit of stationary at US 131 Flea Mkt. in 3-Rivers, MI. 

Yesterday I managed to get FB, Twitter on my Android at home, with wifi from around.

I feel under conviction of the Holy Spirit to "get the internet out of my home", so I won't have internet after tomorrow in my home on my PC, and in 7 days on my smart phone no more internet even though I will be able to get text messages.

My 3 siblings have back pain trouble and I am okay. Maybe I don't work as hard as they do. Paul is okay, having twinges in his hip. Not bad for 65 y.o.

Spiritual warfare

Seems like a lot of people I know are very sick.  I will list a few. 

1) Relative, female, with knee replacement, in and out of hospital 2-3 x last month.
2) Relative, male, with back surgery fallout from Nov. with numb leg, recovered feeling in leg, etc. still undergoing diagnostic tests. 
3) Friend, female, whom I've known 30 years, in psych unit for about 7-10 days so far, looking at protracted stay of 60 days. 
4) Friend, male, outdoors a lot (puts together chimneys for work), with pneumonia.


These come to mind.
Then, a friend's daughter just succumbed to breast cancer about 2 weeks ago.
Next, Paul, my husband's brother Dale died of leukemia and heart issues. 

So, a lot of people around me are not rejoicing this Christmas.  Thank God for the computer and FB. I've been posting prayer requests and getting answers right away on FB Circle of Prayer.

I decided NOT to go to Empire Beauty School (& waste their time and mine). 

I decided to try the Kal Expo Tuesday Farm/flea mkt.  8-2, take Wed. off, it's 15 for one day and 20 for 2 days.  I have appt on Wed a.m. but maybe I could push it to Friday.

These Holidays, you love em or you hate em.  I'd hate to be an employer, seems like 3 lost weeks when nothing gets done because many days off, sickness, parties, buffets in the breakroom, etc., people take time off to shop and meet with relatives, their mind is NOT at work a lot of the time.
I have to admit I do miss a few of the amenities we had working in doctors' offices, free food. What I don't miss is not being able to go anywhere 8 hours a day without permission, -- like prison.

Paul is cutting something with his saw right now.  We went to B&G in Schoolcraft and bought drain catch, bag clips, 3 paintbrushes, Paul bought screws, hinges, and a sander belt that was too big for his sander, all that for 5.00.
